for babies and toddlers. The company was established by Carolyn Jones, who
remains the owner and creative designer for all items. Carolyn Jones grew up in
Toronto, Canada where she obtained an Economics degree. Combined with her creative
flare for fashion, this venture was inevitable. After having two kids (Marlon
and Julia), she realized that clothes for little ones were lacking individuality
when it came to fashion and sense of fun. She would take her kids to the
playground, camps and other social events, and sure enough one other child was
wearing a similar outfit from the chain store retailers. Where was the individuality
in the style of clothes? Determined to make a change in the industry,
she started up "the mini tee". She wanted it to be a place to find original
clothes for children that displayed their personalities. Not just your ordinary
white tee, but colours that reflect the vibrancy of a child's nature. In
addition to this, she wanted the clothing supplied by "the mini tee" to be affordable
for everyone. Therefore the mini tee's motto is 'to provide individuality
